National Hispanic Heritage Month Observation
(FORT BENNING, Ga) The National Hispanic Heritage Month observation continues with a celebration, September 20, 2019 at The Maneuver Center of Excellence Fenty Auditorium. Each year, Americans observe National Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15 to October 15, by celebrating the histories, cultures and contributions of American citizens, whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America. The theme for this year’s celebration is “Essential to the Blueprint of our Nation”. Col. John Dee Suggs Jr., Commandant to the Western Hemisphere Institute for Security Cooperation was the guest speaker and Staff Sgt. Baldomero Campos reenlisted at this year’s celebration.
