The CH-47, piloted by members of the 1-111th AVN, transported the module from Lawson Army Airfield to a drop point in the nearby Chattahoochee River.

Once in the river, soldiers from 362nd MRBC used Mk II Bridge Erection Boats to maneuver the segments into position so that soldiers from the 362nd and 1-29th Infantry could assemble them.
